The Behar Group is looking for a virtual part-time Junior Graphic Designer. We are open to new challenges and opportunities to build, innovate, collaborate and create. You would be working with our marketing and administrative teams along with our high character, professional sales reps and brokers to create materials to help expand TBG’s coverage in the Industrial, Investment and Retail sectors of the market.  

Role Information and Requirements: 

-Estimated at 5-10 hours per week spread out throughout the week.   

-Time flexibility is preferred.

-Utilize industry standard software to produce visual assets as assigned (listing feature sheets, tenant feature sheets, proposal presentations, social media graphics, internal communications materials, e-mail campaigns).   

-Play an important role in the commercial property and tenant marketing process. 

-The candidate will be working from some templates, but will be able to collaborate to update and refresh templates for us.

-Candidate should have their own equipment and reliable internet access.

-Determine the message the design should portray and ensure it is a fit for our audience.

-Develop graphics for use on print materials, social media, websites and illustrations.

-Select colours, images, text style and layout / template options.

-Work closely with our President (Greg Evans) and Marketing /Communications Director (Jen Armel) to determine the scope of projects.

-Incorporate changes recommended by our team and clients into final design. 

-Review designs for errors before printing / publishing.

Education and Experience: 

-Degree / Diploma in Graphic Design or Communications  

-Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator and publisher: 1 year (required)  

-Graphic Design: 1 year (preferred)  

-Web design using Wordpress and other templates and other web experience considered an asset. 

-Familiarity with Mailchimp and other email marketing systems could be an asset.
