Opportunity Overview
We’re currently seeking motivated and experienced Retail or Commercial Leasing Agents to join our growing team in Western Canada. This is an exciting opportunity for self-starters who are passionate about real estate, possess strong business acumen and a robust network, and thrive in a high-energy, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent landlords and tenants in retail and commercial leasing transactions.
- Source, negotiate, and close leasing deals across various asset types, including high-street retail, mixed-use developments, and shopping centres.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, tenants, and developers.
- Identify new business opportunities and actively contribute to business development initiatives.
- Stay informed about local market trends, conditions, and competitive activity.
- Prepare marketing materials, leasing proposals, and deal documentation.
- Collaborate with brokers, marketing staff, and administrative support to deliver exceptional client service.
- Explore and potentially engage in transactions across other asset classes (e.g., industrial, office, multi-family, land).
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed Real Estate Salesperson or Broker in British Columbia or Alberta.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail or commercial leasing.
- In-depth knowledge of the British Columbia or Alberta real estate market.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads, negotiate effectively, and close transactions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to grow your own business.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple active deals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms; experience with real estate marketing tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.

As a leader in the Advisory Services Group, we are seeking a Licensed Commercial Real Estate Appraiser to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is skilled in valuation, and is eager to contribute to business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed commercial real estate appraisals in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Analyze market data, financials, and trends to provide accurate and insightful property valuations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including lenders, investors, and property owners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing expert advisory services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth in the advisory services division.
- Stay current with market trends, legislative changes, and industry best practices.
- Prepare comprehensive appraisal reports and presentations tailored to client needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must be a Licensed AIC Member (CRA or AACI designation preferred) in Ontario.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial real estate appraisal.
- Strong knowledge of valuation methodologies, financial analysis, and market research.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to business development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in appraisal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently while being an active contributor to a team environment.
- Subject to compliant licensing, services could be offered in British Columbia and Alberta, where The Behar Group Realty Inc. has offices.
- Through TBGHomes.ca, the residential division of The Behar Group Realty Inc., residential appraisal business is possible, but is not the core focus.

ABOUT THE POSITION
Our small Marketing team operates as an in-house Marketing Agency supporting our corporate team and broker network across our Toronto/Vancouver offices. The team manages internal and external communications, spearheads tenant and leasing marketing efforts, and builds high-quality physical and digital materials.
We are looking for a talented, proactive Marketing Manager who is a doer who can take ownership of TBG’s marketing output — someone who moves things forward independently, brings creative energy, and thrives on variety. This is a visible, high-impact role at the centre of the brand.
Working with management, your responsibilities will include:
- Co-develop and implement creative marketing programs (on- and offline), including campaigns, newsletters, and industry announcements
- Create content, manage, moderate, and promote the company’s social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook)
- Design and distribute email marketing campaigns including property announcements, market updates, and agent communications via MailChimp
- Property and tenant feature sheet development and updates using Buildout
- Write, design, and edit proposals and collateral marketing materials
- Corporate and agent marketing support — serving as the go-to resource for the broker team
- Website management and content updates
- Database and mailing list management
- CRM support — implementation, maintenance, and campaign workflows
- Industry and market research as required
- Managing PR and media outreach initiatives, including pitching tenant stories, project updates, and company announcements to industry publications and media outlets.
- Manage and post MLS Listings for Agents and send updates to team (time sensitive)
ABOUT YOU
Are you an organized self-starter who thrives on actualizing your potential? Social-media savvy, but with a corporate mind? A design guru? Proficient with email marketing? An excellent, eager, positive, and generous team player?
You bring:
- Knowledge of marketing communications principles for both digital and print mediums
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud — Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom — and Canva
- Video filming and editing skills; working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent
- Proficiency with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) and Microsoft products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — strong ability to articulate strategic ideas through copy and visuals
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Good judgment, excellent service delivery skills, and a commitment to quality
- A team-first attitude — willing to step in and lend a hand, and quick to spot an opportunity to contribute
- A desire to learn, grow, and stay current on marketing trends and best practices
Assets that will set you apart:
- Experience in commercial real estate, property management, or a related professional services environment — strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Buildout, CoStar, or other CRE platforms
- Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field
