Opportunity Overview
We’re currently seeking motivated and experienced Retail or Commercial Leasing Agents to join our growing team in Western Canada. This is an exciting opportunity for self-starters who are passionate about real estate, possess strong business acumen and a robust network, and thrive in a high-energy, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent landlords and tenants in retail and commercial leasing transactions.
- Source, negotiate, and close leasing deals across various asset types, including high-street retail, mixed-use developments, and shopping centres.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, tenants, and developers.
- Identify new business opportunities and actively contribute to business development initiatives.
- Stay informed about local market trends, conditions, and competitive activity.
- Prepare marketing materials, leasing proposals, and deal documentation.
- Collaborate with brokers, marketing staff, and administrative support to deliver exceptional client service.
- Explore and potentially engage in transactions across other asset classes (e.g., industrial, office, multi-family, land).
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed Real Estate Salesperson or Broker in British Columbia or Alberta.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail or commercial leasing.
- In-depth knowledge of the British Columbia or Alberta real estate market.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads, negotiate effectively, and close transactions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to grow your own business.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple active deals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms; experience with real estate marketing tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.

As a leader in the Advisory Services Group, we are seeking a Licensed Commercial Real Estate Appraiser to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is skilled in valuation, and is eager to contribute to business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed commercial real estate appraisals in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Analyze market data, financials, and trends to provide accurate and insightful property valuations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including lenders, investors, and property owners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing expert advisory services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth in the advisory services division.
- Stay current with market trends, legislative changes, and industry best practices.
- Prepare comprehensive appraisal reports and presentations tailored to client needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must be a Licensed AIC Member (CRA or AACI designation preferred) in Ontario.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial real estate appraisal.
- Strong knowledge of valuation methodologies, financial analysis, and market research.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to business development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in appraisal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently while being an active contributor to a team environment.
- Subject to compliant licensing, services could be offered in British Columbia and Alberta, where The Behar Group Realty Inc. has offices.
- Through TBGHomes.ca, the residential division of The Behar Group Realty Inc., residential appraisal business is possible, but is not the core focus.
