We have highlighted below a few of our major recent restaurant deals across Canada: 

Fogo de Chão 

For more than 40 years, Fogo de Chão has cultivated an unparalleled experience of innovation and high-quality service. With over 60 locations internationally, Fogo de Chão is expanding into the Canadian market with their first location opening at QuadReal’s The Post in Vancouver. Soon after that, the second Canadian location will be opening in Toronto’s Entertainment District. Avi Behar and Greg Rabin are responsible for the cross-Canada real estate roll out of the internationally-renowned Brazilian Steakhouse.  

We are so pleased to have put together the deal to bring Fogo to Canada, and to have sourced and finalized the first Canadian location. We look forward to continuing to oversee Fogo’s expansion across the country with plans to open 10+ locations over the next decade.  

National Basketball Association (NBA) Courtside Restaurant  

Our agent Rami Kozman collaborated with Urban Dining Group and Cityzen Development Group to broker the deal that will bring the first-ever NBA Courtside restaurant to the City of Toronto. The 7,700 square foot basketball-themed space is set to open in Spring of 2023 and will be located minutes away from Scotiabank Arena at Pier 27. NBA Courtside is the perfect pre-and-post-game spot, featuring custom NBA-inspired artwork and interior décor, along with a curated sports-themed food and drink menu. 

Don Alfonso 1890: Michelin Star Fine Dining Restaurant 

A huge win for Canada and the City of Toronto.  

Avi Behar and Rami Kozman, in partnership with Nick Di Donato of Liberty Entertainment Group, facilitated the deal that brought the award-winning Michelin Star Italian restaurant to the downtown Toronto skyline. Don Alfonso 1890’s breathtaking location on the 38th floor of The Westin Harbour Castle provides panoramic views of the city and is a spectacular addition to Toronto’s culinary scene. 

Sunnys Chinese 

Tucked away in the vibrant Kensington Market, Sunnys Chinese is worth the journey. After navigating through a dimly lit hallway lined with neon signs, Sunnys’ main entrance is reminiscent of a secret speakeasy.. and the experience has only just begun! 

The restaurant exudes character, with its eclectic interiors and buzzy atmosphere. Chef David Schwartz, along with Culinary Partner Braden Chong, opened Sunnys as a response to the overwhelming success of their initial pop-up. After continuously selling out every weekend, Schwartz decided that Sunnys required a proper brick-and-mortar location and enlisted our help to find the perfect space.   

In addition to our growing list of iconic restaurant deals, we have also facilitated deals with local Toronto celebrity chefs including Patrick Kriss, Massimo Capra, and Susur Lee.
