Summer is always a busy time both in and out of the office. This year we decided to partner with Ryerson University to hire a summer intern to help us in our Marketing & Communications Department. The Behar Group would like to virtually introduce our new intern, Anasofia Heilbron!

Where do you go school and what program are you in? 

I go to school at Ryerson University and I am in the Business Management program, majoring in Entrepreneurship & Strategy.  

What was one of your favourite courses in school and why?  

One of my favourite courses that I have taken in school was a first-year course called Strategies for Success. It was a course to help transition students from high school to university and network with individuals within the program. I loved it because it was a way to learn more about university, how to succeed, and it is also how I met my best friend from school. I also taught the course while I was in second year.

What attracted you to want to work at The Behar Group?  

I have always loved looking at residential properties, so I thought it would be interesting to learn more about real estate from a commercial perspective. Through different internships I have learned that I have a passion for marketing, and I knew that working for a smaller company like The Behar Group, I would have the opportunity to help make a positive impact.  

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?  

I really enjoy exercising, whether it be through various activities, hiking, or going to the gym. I love to read, bake, shop, hangout with friends and family, explore new restaurants and more than ever, I have a love for travelling.  

Favourite restaurant? Or area of Toronto?  

There’s so many to choose from! I would say as of right now, I really like GUSTO 101. As for my favourite area of Toronto, the Queen St. West area is somewhere I always enjoy going to.  

What are you currently watching on Netflix?  

I’m currently watching a Spanish show called The Cable Girls.  

If you could visit anywhere in the world you’ve never been, where would you go?  

I would love to visit Italy and Greece.

I’m with my friends and family and there’s dessert being passed around the table after dinner!
