The above is only a sample of what you’ll find at celebrity chef Massimo Capra’s new restaurant in Mississauga, Ontario. We’re excited not only because we know how fantastic the food is, but also because we, at TBG, have played a part in making Massimo and his wife, Rosa’s, dream a reality.
So how did it all happen?
Our CEO, Avi Behar and Massimo Capra have known each other for over 10 years and during that time, their families have become friends. They have worked on various projects together over the years but in 2014 in particular, Avi and his wife Mio connected with Massimo in his home-town of Cremona, Italy and spent time there together enjoying the culture and the food.

It was around this point that Massimo shared his dream to open up a restaurant in his ‘new’ home-town, Mississauga.
“The choice to open up our restaurant on Lake Shore Boulevard in Mississauga came naturally.” said Massimo. “We call this place our home and we enjoy sharing our food with those who we love, our community.”
After the trip was complete, Avi got to work and brought Barbara Kless, our Director of Sales & Leasing, on board to put the deal together.
“It was an absolute pleasure working with Massimo and Rosa on this project. I’m sincerely excited for them and their team,” said Barbara, once the deal was complete.
The space, a former 4,500-square-foot bakery, has been transformed into a comfortable 75-seat casual Italian restaurant with a contemporary private dining room for parties and corporate events.
The grand opening celebration took place a few weeks ago and by all accounts, it was a lovely evening filled with great music, full bellies, fun and laughter.
“What is most gratifying is seeing this dream through for our good friends.” said Avi. “I am so thankful for this opportunity to work with Massimo and Rosa and I know that they will see success with their new restaurant.”
